Trial of Fears is an intense, interactive haunted walkthrough featuring live performers, frightening scenes, special effects and group challenges. Please review the following warnings and rules before purchasing tickets and entering the attraction.

ATTRACTION WARNINGS

  • Guests may encounter strobe and flashing lights, UV/black lighting, laser lighting effects, theatrical fog, loud sounds, sudden scares, darkness, confined spaces, uneven flooring and effects that may cause guests to get wet.

  • Moving-platform effects may produce sudden motion or jolts. Hanging scenic materials may brush against guests or their clothing. Performers and moving props may appear suddenly and at close range.

  • The experience is designed to cause fear and may be physically and emotionally intense.

HEALTH & PARTICIPATION CONSIDERATIONS

  • Carefully consider the attraction’s effects and physical activities, particularly if you are pregnant; have a heart condition, high blood pressure, asthma or another respiratory condition; have epilepsy or a history of seizures; have a back or neck injury, broken bone or recent surgery; or experience claustrophobia, panic attacks or severe anxiety.

  • Do not participate if you know the attraction’s effects or activities would endanger your health or if a healthcare professional has advised you against participation. Consult a qualified healthcare professional if you are unsure whether the experience is appropriate for you.

  • Staff can explain the attraction’s conditions, physical activities and available assistance. Medical suitability questions should be directed to a healthcare professional.

  • Do not attend with a fever or symptoms of a contagious illness. Do not enter while impaired by alcohol, drugs or medication that affects your awareness, balance, coordination or judgment.

PARTICIPATION RISKS & PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES

  • Guests enter in groups of eight and work together to complete challenges along the route. Smaller parties may be combined with other guests.

  • Activities may include reaching, grasping, turning cranks, pulling ropes and handling designated challenge props. Darkness, uneven surfaces, sudden startle reactions, moving effects and interaction with props may contribute to loss of balance, trips, falls, strains or other injuries. Frightening scenes may cause fear, stress, anxiety or disorientation.

  • Use challenge equipment only as instructed. Ask staff for assistance if you are unable or uncomfortable performing a task.

LATEX ALLERGY WARNING

  • Some costumes, props and scenic materials may contain latex. We cannot guarantee a latex-free environment. Please contact us before purchasing tickets or entering if you have a latex allergy or sensitivity so we can discuss potential exposure and available options.

ACCESSIBILITY & ASSISTANCE BEFORE ENTRY

Please contact us before your visit or speak with staff before entering about accessibility needs, the route, physical challenges, sensory effects or use of a medical or assistive device. Staff will discuss your needs and available options.

RULES OF CONDUCT

Follow all posted rules and staff instructions throughout the experience.

Unsafe behavior or failure to follow these rules may result in refusal of entry or immediate removal without refund.

  • Walk at all times, even when startled. No running, pushing or climbing. Stay with your assigned group and follow the designated guest route.

  • Do not touch performers. Hitting, grabbing, threatening or harassing performers, staff or other guests is prohibited.

  • Handle only designated challenge props and controls and only when instructed. Never force a prop, door or mechanism. Keep hands clear of moving panels and do not reach into unmarked openings or tamper with scenery, lighting or wiring.

  • Silence and put away phones. Photography, video recording, livestreaming, flash and personal lights are prohibited during the experience. Guests who need a device for medical or accessibility purposes should speak with staff before entering to arrange its use.

  • No smoking, vaping, weapons or alcohol inside the attraction. Guests who are impaired will not be admitted.

  • Secure loose belongings. If you drop an item, notify a staff member.

  • Children under 11 must remain with an accompanying adult throughout the experience. The accompanying adult is responsible for supervising the child and helping them follow the rules.

GETTING HELP OR LEAVING EARLY

  • You may request to leave the experience at any time. If you feel unwell, become overwhelmed or need to exit, tell any staff member, “I need assistance,” or clearly ask for help. Staff will help you exit.

  • For an early exit, follow staff directions rather than trying to retrace the attraction’s route or force scenic doors.

  • In an emergency, follow staff instructions and illuminated EXIT signs. Walk, do not run.

  • Participation is voluntary and involves the effects, activities and risks described on this page. Before entering, review these warnings and ask staff about anything you do not understand.

    By choosing to participate, you acknowledge these disclosed conditions and risks and agree to follow the attraction’s safety rules and staff instructions. Promptly report safety concerns or request assistance when needed.
