Giving Back Through the Years
In 2026, Trial of Fears is proud to once again support Goodwill Hawaiʻi, continuing a partnership that reflects our commitment to giving back to the community.
This year, we're bringing new life to secondhand clothing by incorporating items purchased from local Goodwill stores into our haunted attraction's costumes and character designs. Beyond creating memorable scares, these purchases help support Goodwill Hawaiʻi's mission of providing job training, employment opportunities, and resources for individuals facing barriers to employment.
Through this partnership, we're proud to combine creativity, sustainability, and community support, proving that even something scary can make a positive impact!
2025: CASA HAWAI’i
In 2025, Trial of Fears proudly partnered with CASA Hawaiʻi, donating $10,000 to support their mission of advocating for children in Hawaiʻi’s foster care system.
CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) trains volunteers to represent a child’s best interests in court, helping ensure local keiki have access to safe, stable, and permanent homes.
Thanks to everyone who attended Trial of Fears, we were able to give back to an organization making a meaningful difference in the lives of Hawaiʻi’s children. Mahalo for helping us support our community.
2024: Family Promise of Hawaii
In 2024, we proudly supported Family Promise of Hawaiʻi, donating $7,000 in a single season to help families experiencing homelessness access shelter, resources, and long-term stability.

2022: Hawaii Food Bank
In 2022, Trial of Fears proudly partnered with Hawaiʻi Foodbank through our annual Caring Through Scaring initiative, donating a portion of ticket proceeds to help fight hunger across Hawaiʻi.
Hawaiʻi Foodbank works to provide nutritious food to local families and individuals facing food insecurity, helping ensure that no one in our community goes hungry.
Thanks to everyone who attended Trial of Fears, we were able to turn Halloween thrills into meaningful support for our community. Mahalo for helping us make a difference!
2021: Goodwill Hawaii
Goodwill Hawaii and the Trial of Fears come together to strengthen the community and create opportunities for those who may experience employment obstacles. This is why majority of our costuming within the attraction is bought from Goodwill stores. Rather than outsourcing costumes from large corporations in the mainland, the Trial of Fears wanted to provide support to locals within our community.
Goodwill Hawaiʻi helps individuals and families overcome barriers to employment, empowering them to achieve self-sufficiency through the power of work.
